Know which vehicle is in every kerbside space, as it happens
Real-time kerbside enforcement for councils
PLANER watches your busiest streets around the clock with fixed 3D LiDAR sensors and ANPR cameras, tracking each vehicle from the moment it pulls in. When a vehicle overstays, your team sees it on the dashboard and the nearest ranger is sent straight to it, with the evidence already prepared.
Key features:
Continuous, vehicle-level monitoring of every covered space
Stationary time measured to the second from arrival
Rangers routed to confirmed overstays through the PLANER app
Vehicle verification and ticket issue in less than 25 seconds
Complete, exportable evidence package for every offence
The problem
Your rangers can only enforce what they happen to see
On a busy shopping strip, a ranger walking the block has no way of knowing which car arrived ten minutes ago and which has been there since breakfast. Chalking tyres and patrol-based cameras only capture a moment in time, so overstays slip through between visits and drivers learn that the odds are in their favour. Meanwhile meters confirm payment and in-ground sensors confirm occupancy, and neither can tell you who is actually parked there.
How it works
From arrival to ticket, in four steps
Detect. LiDAR picks up each vehicle as it enters the monitored area, and ANPR captures the plate at the same moment, giving every vehicle its own tracking record.
Track. PLANER measures how long each vehicle stays against the rules for that bay, telling the difference between a quick stop and genuine parking.
Flag. When a time limit is exceeded, the overstay appears on the council dashboard and an evidence package is generated automatically.
Enforce. The nearest ranger is routed to the vehicle through the app, verifies it on arrival and issues the ticket in less than 25 seconds.
-
Coverage no longer depends on when a ranger last walked past. Every vehicle in a monitored area is treated the same way, all day.
-
Officers spend their shift on confirmed violations instead of patrolling on the chance of finding one, so the same team covers far more ground.
-
Each ticket is backed by a timestamped record of arrival and stay, which makes contested fines quicker to resolve and easier to defend.
